"Berber Carpet Review"
We have owned berber carpet for almost four years now. I have to say that this brand is very durable. Our carpet has survived three toddlers.. and we all know how messy toddlers are. We get our carpet professionally cleaned at least twice a year. We do this right before the Holiday's and in the middle of summer. We get them cleaned at these time because during holiday photos we want no spots showing up and in summer the kids are outdoors more and bring in dirt, popsicle stickies and muddy hands. Our carpet is beige and shows dark stains more easily than other colors but I use the kids and pets stain remover to keep up in between steamings. Other than that I am pretty satisfied with the quality and durability of the berber. It is also pretty inexpensive and pretty much pays for itself. On a scale of 1-10 I give it 6.

"Love that Mohawk Berber"
Three months ago we replaced the five year old Berber carpeting in our condo with new Berber carpeting from Mohawk. Our previous carpeting was from a different manufacturer. The Mohawk carpet has a tighter weave and the fibers don't crush when you walk on them. Our new carpet is also much easier to keep clean. The vacuum glides across the carpet and the carpet releases dirt and cat hair with ease. Also, we have a cat and, of course, she has christened our carpet with several hair balls. The stain stays on top of the carpet rather than being absorbed. Just a simple wet paper towel, one wipe and the stain is gone. I would highly recommend this carpet to a friend and have already recommended it to my sister.

"uncertain"
We live on a ranch, and it seems my carpet is not stain resistant. I know I am partially responsible for this problem for the color is not conducive for our occupation. I believe my next choice of flooring will be hardwood or the look of this type of flooring.

My carpets have held up for years, even with kids and pets. I do have them cleaned a few times a year professionally and vacuum often.

"Sustaining the Daily life with our Mohawk carpets"
We picked a more neutral carpet tone with specks so as to not show as much dirt. It's been 3 years and the only problem was stains with our 5 year old being messy and dog who has accidents on the carpet! We've only had to have 1 deep carpet cleaning since and overall satisfied with Mohawk and it's product.
