"long lasting quality"
I'm not sure what everyone is talking about with matting down. Of course it will mat down a little! Its a plush carpet. If you want something that feels good to sit, walk and lay on this is the carpet for you. I've had my carpet in my condo where there is constant walking for 7 years. I'm just replacing it as I'm changing colors.

"This carpet is JUST AWFUL"
Had this very expensive carpet installed throughout my 2 story house. It is such a horrible mess. Shows footprints and packs down when you walk across it. It picks easily too. It is hard to vacuum and has bags and rolls in places where it was not even walked on. I hate this stuff !!! BTW It was sold to me and installed by Broadway Carpets, Knoxville, TN.

"Worn in 4 months"
Purchased and installed in Oct 2020. Saw packing by Christmas and thought "no way". But by mist winter it was packed down, and the top was fuzzy. Vacuuming did not restore it. Uneven wear everywhere. Have dealt with Mohawk since August 2021. Didn't even come out to take a look at it, but agreed to replace. Of course, its only covering wholesale cost leaving me on the hook. And carpet I choose is discontinued. I at this point I don't care to even have any Mohawk as a replacement. Very unsatisfied and shopping around for a sturdy nylon carpeting by another company. Not impressed with Smartstrand one single bit adm advise you not to consider it

"Will not honor warranty"
Carpet is delaminating and coming apart at the seams. Our carpet broker and installer submitted a warranty claim. Mohawk sent out their inspector who claimed it was site related and they denied the claim. We have a large remnant that was never installed and was kept on a shelf in a controlled environment that has the exact same manufacturing defect. How can it be site related when it has never even been installed? Awful carpet and even worse customer service! They told me I can hire one of their approved inspectors at my cost to see if they might reopen the case. I have contacted the better business burea. Everyone needs to turn them in for not honoring their warranty!

"34 years sounds like good carpet to me"
In 1988 we purchased a low pile middle grade mohawk carpet that was thick - don't remember the exact name-it had to be special ordered- along with a midrange pad from a flooring store to be installed by their team. After raising 3 kids, 5 dogs, 2 cats & a husband who overfilled the bathtub twice & flooded the hallway- the only area that seams are showing after 34 years is in our hallway near the bathroom. We had planned on replacing it a few times -shampooed it & in some places it still looks brand new -life got in the way & we are just now in the midst of replacing it. After hearing about our neighbors buying from HDepot etc & having issues with loose carpeting I won't be shopping the 0% sale ever- no thank you, we will go back to the same store. I will do more research but unless Mohawk is doing something different with their manufacturing it's hard to read the poor rating here after how long our's has lasted.

Review:
"Cheap Quality at High Price"
Purchased carpet from Home Depot. Had Several installation issues that Home Depot has accepted responsibility. As for the carpet quality: Foot prints, that were to be lightly visible, leave deep imprints. The dog's paws leave deep hole where the nails made contact. Snags occur everywhere. Crease lines are visible as well as joint seams. We compared the sample sent from Mohawk to the carpet installed. They were different. Mohawk did not provide a rationale response to the differences. Am I to assume that Home Depot gets a different quality carpet than flooring or decorating stores receive? Mohawk has accepted no responsibility but Home Depot is working with us to resolve the quality issue. I Will update.
