"Very Disappointed"
I had quick step laminate floors installed by a professional flooring company and 4 months I cleaned my floors and noticed a couple of the planks swelling , call the company and I would have to pay to replace it, after reading all the complaints I am sold this is a very cheap product and I waste my hard earned money , should have went to Home Depot better quality.

"don't buy it"
I have had my floor for 4 months and it started to curl and show seams with in a month of install by a professional. I had a wilson art floor in my dining room for 12 years exposed to cats, a small child's spills etc and never had an issue. On the other hand, my quick step is deteriorating badly and quickly. The store sent a rep over to see it, which is good customer service, but of course, the first question was, "who installed it?" It looked very nice for the first 3 weeks and then started to show weird problems. It was not wet, the floor is not wet under, I had a full leak test recently and everything was a okay. It also chipped very easily when a wooden broom fell over. The end of the wooden broom hit the floor and it chipped it. Are you kidding me? The only reason I can find to give it a 25 year warranty is because it suggests quality, but it is not. Do not buy this product and waste your hard earned money.

"Don't buy"
My wife and I had to replaces our floor after our dishwasher exploded while we were gone on a family trip. So I went on line and try to do some research but I really wasn't finding any thing. So we went to all the flooring shops every buddy But one person said how great quick step was. The one person said that he wouldn't even put it in his dog house. The Next day we went down to the flooring shop and ordered 1000 feet of quick step maple. A week later when I got it I started to install it, and I notice every fourth board had a chip in it or I was chipping it, so that night I had a family friend come over and see if I was doing something wrong and he started to put it in and he started chipping the planks ( keep in mind this guy has been laying floors for over 30 years). My buddy said this was the biggest peaces of sh*t he had ever seen. The only good thing about it is it did look nice but we had to do a lot of exert work to get this stuff to even look nice. I will never buy this again not even to put in my dog how. And if quick step ever reads this thanks a holes for the exert work!!!!!!!

"Made the family very sick!"
Quick Step laminate flooring was installed on Friday and uninstalled the following Monday. The flooring bubbled in places and had white specks in the plastic. Noxious fumes sickened the entire family. It looked cheap and was poor quality through and through. Just because something is "Green" doesn't mean it is safe. I will never use this company's products again. The installer also refused to give any refund even though they advertise that the customer will be "completely satisfied". Don't use 50 Floor in Jonesboro, Georgia or you will be "completely ripped off". We are out over $2000!

"Dull and dirty"
The flooring that was put in our new house was Quick-Step QS 700 Enhanced Cherry and has not looked clean from day one and is now curling at the seams, chipping and bubbling through out the entire house. Terrible product.

"will never buy again!"
We replaced our Pergo floor with Quick Step quadra after a slab leak. Huge mistake. The quick step floors scratch and actually scrape off so easily. We have no pets and no little children and could not believe how soft and easily damaged these floors were! The slightest water causes damage to the tiles. Plus the interlocking feature makes it hell to replace a tile. Never again!

"Terrible Product and Terrible Customer Service"
We recently purchased a home with Quick Step laminate installed throughout. The installation had been done approximately 5 years before. There was significant warping in a few locations. When we contacted Quick Step about obtaining more flooring to replace the damaged areas as well as replace sections for renovation purposes, we were told that even though the flooring is still manufactured it is unavailable. The color and style we needed is only sold in the UK and cannot be sold to the US due to distribution agreements. I was also told that "flooring is a part of the fashion industry" and that it was essentially unreasonable of me to expect them to still supply this product (even though it is STILL manufactured!) Fashion or no, I expect my home to last longer than my clothing. It is also reasonable to expect durable surfaces to last longer than a few years. I don't want to change my flooring annually or seasonally, thank you very much! I asked what they would do if it had failed (considering the 25 year warranty). How would they replace it then?

"Quick Step Country Collection Softly Scraped Walnut"
Even though this product cost more than it's competitors, I picked this product for our kitchen because Quick Step offered a 25 year Residential Warranty and claimed this product had "exceptional durability" and will withstand dents, which is what I needed with 3 children and a dog. We do not wear shoes in the house, our kitchen chairs have foot pads, and I sweep often. I spot clean, as needed, with Quick Step cleaner. After 1-2 months, I did a "on your hands and knees" cleaning, when I noticed a ton of surface scratches. Later, my daughter dropped a small empty glass and it made a dent to the fiberboard! In fact, anytime something is dropped, it always makes a dent. This is not a durable floor as promised. I contacted Quick Step and expressed my disappointment and a representative came to look at flooring and was told this was from "normal wear and tear" and nothing is wrong with the product. After 2 months of having the floor, it's looks used and absolutely does not wear well. The informational product claims are fictional and the warranty does not apply if you are not happy with the less than satisfactory performance, so don't let the 25 year factory warranty fool you or make you feel confident you are buying a good product. This product does not deliver as promised. Very disappointed!

"Easily scratched"
Not long after the flooring was installed I spotted the first scratch. Since then, many other areas have become scratched. We do not wear shoes indoors, most of our visitors also remove their shoes, we have no pets and we have put protectors on the bottom of the furniture. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

"I hate it!"
I have had a Quick Step Perspective floor (the higher end price wise) for approx. 10 years. I have absolutely tried everything to make it look clean. It always looks streaky and dirty, even if I get down on my hands and knees to clean it. And BEWARE, if you have dogs or cats, you had better make sure you NEVER let them have an accident you cannot clean up immediately. If something wet stays on the floor for more than a few hours (say for instance overnight, while you were asleep) It will warp your floor on that spot. Again, I am totally unhappy with my choice.
