Review:
"Defective"
Major gaps formed even with full house humidifier within a year. The installer came out and added boards. More gaps occurred within 2 years of install, so the installer put in T-molding for expansion joints and added more boards. 4-5 years after install (and after these major repairs), we have gaps of up to 1" from our walls and 3/4" in the middle of our hallway. The dealer submitted a warranty claim, but the manufacturer doesn't cover gaps and claimed that there was an "environmental issue" due to the moisture in the flooring being 11% now and only 7% at time of install. Apparently my floors defy the laws of physics and contract when moisture levels rise. Buyer beware!

Review:
"Do not buy if you live in high rise building"
We did our entire floor with the Portfolio product. We live in Chicago in a high rise. This product will not hold up in a cold climate in a high- rise building. The low humidity in winter immediately caused the floor to pull apart and create huge gaps. We will have to replace the entire floor. Do not use it in cold climate.
