"Wood flooring is the way to go if you have children."
We are the proud owners of wood flooring. We have had this type of flooring in our home since we had it built in 2007. I currently own a daycare center and we have wood flooring in there as well. I wouldn't think about having anything else. I love how durable and clean it is. Messes are a cinch with this floor covering, chocolate milk or water coloring spills, it doesn't matter it cleans right up. Unlike carpet. At first when we had it installed we did have a couple of issues with some of the boards spreading apart and creating gaps, but the repair was quick and easy . I love the way the wood looks as well as how it brings a real nature feeling into our home. It truly does go with any decorating style. I would most definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family. Thank you.

"Pergo Wood Floors"
I have owned the wood floor since 2006. I like how it brings out my furniture, doesn't seem to scratch very easily and looks professional and elegant. I dislike how the color I have is a little light, wish it was a little darker. No repairs or replacements have been needed at this time. Yes I would buy the brand again, and already have recommended it to a friend

"Why I hate my Pergo Floor"
My husband and I decided that it was time to redo our home and we decided to take out the tile floor and put down a wooden floor. We didn't like how hard the tile floor was to keep looking clean and how cold the floor was in the winter. So many of our friends had Pergo floors and seemed happy, so we went with pergo. Taking up my tile floor and putting down Pergo was one of the worst mistakes that I have made. I had nothing but problems with the install. The man who installed the floor was a certified installer, but I have come to realize that being a certified didn't mean a whole lot. I had to hire someone else to repair the mistakes that the first guy made. After paying a small fortune to have the floor installed I realized how moisture and wooden floors don't mix. Any bit of moisture can spell disaster for wooden floors so I have to be very careful that no liquids ever spill on the floor and that the windows are never left open if it might rain. Not only do you have to worry about liquids ruining the floor, but you have to worry about sharp objects putting a hole in the flooring if they fall. I tell all of my friends to stay away from wooden floors and as soon as it is possible I am going to go back to tile flooring.

"Recommended by contractors of choice"
In looking for a new floor it was recommended by a neighbor who does contracting work to try the floors by Prego. Examing samples I wanted something durable for I have a dog and a cat and in putting it to the test I found minimal surface scratches to the material which was very favorable. In the 2-3 years I can't find anything that I don't like it has held up very well for my pets are indoors 95% of the time. At this present time there has not been a need for any repairs except for a cast iron pan being dropped but what can withstand that it was just a minor dent hardly seen. In my neighborhood we have a lot of older homes and so we tend to ask who's doing the work on homes and you find a lot of contractors that know good products. It's nice to have something you wouldn't hesitate to have again and give a good indorsement to a neighbor.

"I am in Love with Pergo"
During a recent summer, we decided it was time to redo our dining room floor. We had old, nasty, dark green carpet that we were happy to get rid of. We decided on Pergo flooring, which comes in long, precut boards that you fit together like big puzzle pieces. It comes several different stains and wood types. It was one of the most affordable flooring options, as we are renovating on a budget, so that was very important to us. An entire room took approximately 4 hours to complete (could be more or less depending on the molding and corners you have in your room, you may need to cut some boards to fit along walls evenly), and my dad did it on his own easily. The floor is easy to clean and doesn't really need to be polished after mopping. If you drag something sharp across the surface, however, it can scratch. We love our floor so much that we bought more to do our kitchen, and we are planning on using it for our living room and hallway as well. I would recommend Pergo to anyone who wants an affordable wood flooring option!

"Easy to install and clean, and very nice looking"
A few months ago my fiance and I decided to install fresh wood flooring in our cabin style home. The old laminate had suffered very sever water damage during a winter flood, and we worried we might end up falling through it. We went to Lowes and decided to invest in some Pergo flooring. There are a lot of good things I can say about this floor. The installation was a huge plus. It was super easy to lay the laminate down and only took us a few hours to finish our kitchen, bathroom, and living room floors. It's very easy to clean- which is huge plus, as we live in a muddy area and have a puppy. There is one downside the the flooring- the price. We paid quite a bit more for the Pergo brand than we would have paid for similar laminates, and the difference isn't very profound. But overall we are quite satisfied with the purchase, and we would both recommend this brand to a friend.

"I love my wood floors!"
I love my wood floors. I replaced my old carpet in my dining room because it was getting worn out due to the high traffic. I needed something a little more durable and not as much maintenance. I was surprised at how easy it was to put in and did not take much time at all. I have owned them for 3 years and not once have I regretted putting them in. What I love most about them is the way they look. They are absolutely beautiful and extremely low maintenance unlike carpet. I have never had to repair them at all. All I have done is buffed them up a couple of times but that probably was not even necessary. Everyone who sees them tells me that it looks a whole lot better and changes the way the whole room looks. I would definitely buy the same brand again and would recommend them to anyone who would be interested in beautiful looking low maintenance flooring.

"Incredible Improvement in Kitchen"
I had a new Pergo floor installed in our kitchen about 6 months ago. We replaced a linoluem floor. The floor itself looks great but the real surprise was how much better it made our old cabinets look. I am going to delay replacement of the cabinets based on this improvement. The maintenance of the floor is a breeze and I simply wipe up any spills and go over it with a Swiffer wet mop once in a while. A number of things have been dropped on the floor such as a fry pan and a knife with no damage to the floor at all. I am very happy with the floor and would recommend Pergo flooring to anyone looking for a new floor. One surprise I did get was that the dogs are pretty concerned about walking on the new floor as their legs keep slipping out from under them. I think that may be a surprise benefit as keeping them out of the kitchen is often a plus. Overall an excellent investment.

"Happy"
I have had these floors for about 3 years. When I first installed them I fell in love. Not much has changed and I still adore my floors. I love the color of them. They are hard wood and very rich. There are many different tones in the floor. They have maintained a decent appearance, considering they are three years old and have experienced lots of wear. Even after spilling on the floor, I was able to easily clean it up. My kids constantly are playing on it. However, the floor has very little scratches. Most of the marks are where chairs are constantly being moved. Nobody in my family understands the concept of lifting up a chair when moving it. The only thing bad about my floors was that customers service. They were hard to work with, but the floors themselves are great. I have never had to repair them and would recommend them to my friends.
