"Seams are not tight"
The price was cheap and so was the product. Very difficult to snap pieces together. Sometimes impossible so that there is no way to close a 1/16" gap. It was a nightmare to try to get it right. I am a DIYer and have installed hundreds of square feet of laminate but this was the first time I had such problems. Do not buy this!

"Not too bad"
This flooring was mainly purchased due to price restrictions and I needed something fast. The ease of installing was a plus but the planks need to be made a bit better. The thickness of the locking ledges does not leave much room for error when trying to get them to "snap" together. (I had to purchase a laminate floor bar and a rubber mallet to get them to slip together). Over all though, this product is not the worst I have used. Although not the best, I would recommend it depending on where it is being used.

"Discontinued size"
I bought a box of the same type floor that I installed 3 years ago to replace 2 planks that got damaged. While trying to install I realized that it was a half inch wider. I was informed where I purchased it that they no longer make the size that I need. How stupid is that?

"Satisfied Customer"
I have not only installed Tarkett wooden flooring in our office but at my home as well. Its been over a year and till to date I do not have a single complaint against this product. Have spend a huge amount of money on getting this flooring done in my drying room and guest room. With pass of every single day its giving a new shade and wood Is changing its color looks like every month with more graceful look. These are my honest comments and let me tell you I am a very touchy and sensitive person when it comes to my home and my sweet home. Am a difficult customer and today when I saw all the comments here against this product I asked myself seems like every person here are facing the problem with Tarkett should I consider myself luck or what. I would like to leave my personal email address here so that if anyone would like to comment on this they should do it easily. [email protected]

"Garbage"
Was used by company repairing flood damage in my home. I won't sign off on job because floor already has chips and edges buckling. Entire floor needs to be ripped up and replaced. Product is terrible

"Bowed edges after 6 months"
I bought this product thinking it was superior to other products. After 6 months you could see ever boards edge. Looks like crap now. I will be replacing this with real hard wood. That was a lot of money tossed away. I would never buy this Tarkett brand again.

"World Champion Sucker"
This product has flaws in the seams/joints, locking grooves and the surface laminate is very thin. Don't even think about installing this product if you want to retain your sanity.

"I have never been angrier"
Two years ago we replaced three rooms with Tarkett laminate flooring, a total nightmare, it is impossible to clean , slippery, seams are peeling, you name it....such a waste of hard earned money. Mennards is the absolute worst store to deal with, not at all customer friendly, so very disgusted...

Review:
"Menards Customer Service is as bad as the flooring they sell."
Regarding a very large purchase of Tarkett Laminate Flooring: My complaint email to MENARDS: I fell in love with the sample board that I saw at the Gurnee Illinois store. Unfortunatly they didn't have enough of the flooring that we needed for my project so I purchased 5 boxes from Gurnee and the remaining 92 boxes from the Racine Wisconsin store. After unloading all of the product into my home and letting it settle My contractor, who has installed flooring in my home and all of my rental properties, got to work. Only after getting to the third row of installation the flooring started to pop and crack at the seams. The edges busted on the pieces that popped up and numerous pieces broke at the T-Lock. He asked me If I checked into reviews on the product and I told him no. I NEVER imagined that I would need to because I do all of my shopping at Menards. I then went onto the internet hoping to find something good regarding the product so that I could encourage my contractor to keep going. This was not the case. EVERY review was awful. Not one was happy with the product or the company. They all had been given the runaround and not one recieved any sort of resolve from Tarkett. I have taken time to drive to Racine, load 92 boxes into my truck, unload them into my home, pay my contractor for 2 unproductive hours. I will now need to reload the boxes into my truck to return them to the store and then unload the boxes when I get them to the store. With all of that being said I will leave the ball in your court. What I would like to know is what can you do for me? I am a very loyal Menards shopper and I always speak highly regarding the service and shopping experiences at your store. Thank you for your time in this matter. Responce from MENARDS: Wendy, While I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase, we have sold thousands with out incident. We will certainly take the flooring back (with appropriate receipt), but the transportation is for your account. Thank you, Ray My Reply to MENARDS: I do have my appropriate receipts. And these goods will be returned TONIGHT. I am very unsatisfied with your responce to this email. Your claim of "thousands without incident" is untrue. You just have thousands that have not complained because they do not know any better. All of the reviews that I have read on-line are MENARDS customers. I would have hoped that your buyer would check into customer satisfaction before stocking your store with products that are poorly milled and let alone use a manufacturer that doesn't stand behind the warranty. Your store has lost my respect as a result of your less than encouraging email. Myself and my rental properties will be taking our unrespected buisness elsewear.

"AWFUL product"
They won't stand behind their warranty and are a rip off. Had the floor five years and have been unhappy with it ever since installed. Gives you the runaround save your money and don't go with their laminate!!! Not good for kids and pets like promised. Moves when you walk on them.
