"Scratches, dents, scuffs & gouges"
The 25 year warranty might make you think this flooring is durable but it is not. It scratches so easily that you can't even finish installing it before it starts looking bad. Sure, they might send you a replacement piece but contrary to their statement that damaged pieces are "easily replaceable", the interlocks do no allow replacement without pulling up half of the room or more. Think plastic feet on your furniture will protect it? Think again - my recliner has plastic feet but apparently this flooring is a softer plastic and is scuffed by the plastic feet. Any piece of furniture that stays in the same place very long will result in a dent. Roll your refrigerator out for 20 minutes to clean behind it and you'll find a dent in the middle of the floor when you push it back in. Drop anything on it that does not have rounded corners and it will gouge a hole in the surface. Waterproof? No, unless you caulk the perimeter of the room water will seep under it and grow mold. But you can't caulk it because you will loose the ability for it to expand and contract. The Franklin History color is a mistake too - every little piece of dirt and lint shows up like a neon sign. You have to sweep or vacuum your floor DAILY to keep your house from looking like a ghetto. Manufacturing quality? Forget it - many of the pieces have broken interlock tabs causing you to have to use it for an end piece - IF you catch it before you install it. The back of almost every piece comes with pieces of manufacturing scrap stuck to it. If you don't scrape them off before installing it, they show up as pimples on the surface. Don't have a perfectly flat subfloor? You'll know it a day after your floor is installed - it settles down onto the surface of your subfloor and shows every lump, dip, and level change. Prepare to be disappointed and angry!

"Terrible"
Had laminate flooring professionally installed to replace my laminate floor that was destroyed by a broken water pipe. within 6 months edges are curling! I did not get it too wet. Shaw will not honor their warranty, neither will my installer. The flooring is of very poor quality and I have no choice but to replace it at my own expense. Do not buy Shaw laminate flooring

"Expensive junk"
I had this installed in new construction home as I wanted something durable that looked good. I have a big dog who lives indoors. Just moving in and sliding an ottoman with plastic capped feet and a plastic container from Walmart put big deep scratches into the flooring. These were part of normal moving activities. My builder told me another client in VA has the same issue. Shaw finally agreed to have an independent inspector look at hers, and they may have to do the same with mine. In the meantime, my builder (David James Custom Homes) has pulled all of the samples from their showroom floors.

"New Vinyl Planks"
Lowes recommended for my salon for it's waterproof & stain proof qualities. First drop of haircolor (that was wiped & cleaned up immediately), showed staining! A call to Lowes- a call to Shaw= no resolve. Shaw states that none of their floors are resistant to any stains. They cannot recommend a cleaner to remove stains, & they cannot recommend a protective coating to ensure no further stains as a precaution! They also state that they just make the floors, they don't sell them! Well played shaw! Dont buy shaw products! Waste of money!!

"This floor is a nightmare"
This is the worst floor I've ever installed. I found pieces that were broken from the corners right when I got it out of the box. The pieces are all very brittle and it's extremely easy to damage them just by trying to put them together. They scratch way too easily and I can't see this floor holding up if it's already this bad. I had to pull some up and take some out because some of the pieces we're starting to separate. They said it's resilient that's a joke. If you buy this you'll regret it.

"Don't buy a Shaw product"
The worst product! Looked horrible from the first day it was installed. I filed a claim within two weeks of install. Customer service is telling me this is normal wear and tear. Unacceptable.

"Don't buy!"
Looks beautiful, however the durability is the worst I've experienced with any laminate I've installed. Scratches if you slide a chair over it. I also have dime size to quarter size random gaps throughout the room-not an installation problem. Either the joints are faulty or the product does not allow for heat-cold expansion and or contracting in a home. We had the product professionally installed over brand new subfloor. Reported to Shaws for a full refund. What a waste of time. Again looks beautiful is waterproof but those are the only two plus sides of the complete list of Shaws Marketing claims. Not durable at all to say the least. Need to shop for a different brand- I was very satisfied with Pergo.

"Don't use this product!"
I did everything the manufacturer instructed for installation including only using their product to clean it and it is not holding up. I will end up having to replace it. Don't buy this product!
