"Not all it is cracked up to be"
We brought HOME LEGEND'S EC Evolution flooring in 2020 for our house in the country. The seller and installer were from HomeCorr in Cookeville, Tennessee. At first all was well, but over the first year we had one severe crack in the hall. Then over the next year we had one severe crack in the bedroom. Today, I noticed a severe crack in the laundry room. These rooms have ONLY normal traffic and nothing unusual. We had a representative come out and his comment was "nothing like this has ever happened". No action from Home Legend was taken. I do not recommend this flooring WHAT SO EVER!!. I am very disappointed that the flooring did not live up to it's sale's pitch.

"Total Garbage"
Honestly, I've laid home depot 89 cent sq.ft. flooring and it's superior to this $3.50 sq. garbage. I bought it thinking it was a traditional click together and after taking a detective course figured out it is glue down. Fine,I can live with that except the 1/4 inch tongue doesn't adequately lock. The floor just pops apart. I didn't bother with the glue as I struggled to see if I could get the flooring to just hold for a test fit here and there. My reasoning is if it can't at least hold till the glue sets then I am in a wos*** and will have glue all over the planks. Also, there seems to be warpage in the planking so that pieces don't fit evenly and cause gaps. Very frustrating and I can't return it as I waited far too long to put this down.

"Bad company"
Very dissatisfied with company. No support from Home Depot either. They guaranteed it and now I'm on my own. H.L. won't talk to me directly. Said I walked on my floor so not covered by warranty! Do not buy! Go to Loews!

"Dangerous laminate flooring"
Just had this flooring installed a few days ago from Home Depot and installed by HD. I knew little about laminate except all workmen in and out said - oh get laminate rather than carpeting, it lasts longer. (It's for a rental house). I walked into the house with my 2 year old grand daughter after installation . She ran barefoot and 5 feet onto the floor it was so slippery she landed on her back and hit her head on the floor. I felt like I was walking on glass or ice it is so slippery - and I was wearing rubber soled sandals. We did an entire house and every room feels like a balancing act not to slip and fall. This flooring is a law suit waiting to happen when a potential renter walks thru the door and slips and falls. Went to HD and complained - no manager on duty yesterday - I'll be going back. I had no idea that laminate flooring could be this slippery and dangerous. I didn't even think to google or research as I had faith in Home Depot not to sell a dangerous product. Plus it seems many floors in pictures on line on tv shows show laminate type floors and no complaints. I called Home Legend and she said - oh we have that type of flooring in our office and it's not slippery at all (yeah right). She also said because it's a rental house the warranty is voided as it's only good for installation in the owners own home. Never mind I was old this warranty and assured by HD it is for 15 or 20 years. Also, their (Legends)only suggestion as to what we might use to negate this horrible slippery floor is to spray it with alcohol and water and a microfiber mop. I intend to do that today or tomorrow. If it's not 100% improved I'm going to raise hell with Home Depot. The Legend customer service rep suggested using area rugs all over the house. #1 why on earth would I put down laminate if it's to be covered up with area rugs and #2 I can hardly ask tenants cover all floors with area rugs to keep from breaking their necks. Needless to say I'm so upset about this and I'll see what Home Depot says. I did take not that someone got in touch with hd home headquarters and did get results. I didn't spend almost 5k to put down what, in essence, is an ice skating rink. If anyone has suggestions as to how to deal with this problem I would certainly appreciate tips. Home Legend said there is no option other than alcohol/water spray then mop.

"This is not my Pergo!"
I loved my new floor when installed. It is beautiful. I put it throughout my house. But the quality is not present. It mars and scratches with everyday use. There are areas where normal maintenance has caused a "rippling" effect of edges. I mopped my old Pergo (glued)-- I was told I could not mop this floor. I have never mopped it instead I get on my hands and knees. The floor is 2 years old now. The Home Depot sales team assured me it was superior to competitors--they were wrong.

"Cherry laminate"
Purchase pacific cherry laminate from home depot. Was very happy with the look until I foolishly put a wooden rocker on it. After three weeks I noticed some streaking that I thought was nothing until I tried to remove. Unable to wipe off the streaks, I went to the depot for advise. I was told there was nothing I could to to correct the problem. The sales person was obviously well aware of the problem with this product. I called the company who refused to do anything stating that scratches were damage not covered by the 50year warranty. I was told I could go on line and look at the warranty as the do not include it with their product. This floor is about a year old and now looks terrible. The warranty is useless and the company is worse. Do yourself a favor and avoid Home Legend products.

"A Great and Relatively Economical Laminate Flooring"
The Home Legend Tacoma Oak laminate flooring is a great choice for a budget redecoration. I've had mine for about 6 months now and I'm fairly happy with it. It has the look of real wood and the color I have, which is a lighter shade, really helps to brighten up the room and make it look more open and inviting. I did have some help from a friend to install it as I was a little confused as to how to do it myself, but we managed to do it on our own. It's also very easy to clean. I was sick of all the fluff coming off the carpeting I had and this is a great solution. It was also the most affordable option I found that looked good, which is a definite plus when you need to watch what you spend but also are sick of the way a room looks. In the 6 months I've owned it I've never had to repair or replace any part of it. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with it and definitely recommend this flooring to anyone looking to brighten up a room and redecorate on a budget. I'm considering getting more to do the bedroom with. The only complaint I have is the installation, but that really depends on your level of experience with installing flooring.
