"The poorest quality carpet in the country"
Immediately after installation of the carpet particles from the carpet backing started to come to the surface. After it was replaced with a new one particles started coming out again. We are very dissatisfied with this company.

"Pigment Issues"
In 2015 Shaw carpeting was installed throughout our home. The carpeting was advertised as having a lifetime color retention guarantee. Approximately three months after installation small yellow spots began to appear in random areas. The spots would continue to lighten until the color was completely bleached. As of this date, ten spots have shown up. Close inspection showed that the spots consisted of individual strands that were colorless from top to bottom. Strands next to the discolored strands were completely fine. Substances spilled on the carpet would have affected some strands completely and some partially. This is not the case here. Our installer was contacted and they contacted Shaw. Shaw sent a representative to inspect the carpet. Their response was that the carpet warranty was not applicable because, "this issue is not a known defect". Further, the carpet is advertised as "will not show wear". The carpet already shows significant wear throughout a large area.

"Matted"
Thought we were buying a good grade carpet four years ago. It started matting within the first year. Still looks good under the furniture! Wish I had done more research before buying this.

"Don't honor their life-time warranty never to wrinkle"
Shaw carpet has a life-time warranty never to wrinkle but, in my case, they were not willing to honor their warranty. I had purchased an upgraded quality but the carpet throughout the whole house began to wrinkle a year after it was installed (installer's workmanship warranty is 1 year so they wouldn't help either). The hallway is so badly wrinkled that it is folded upward and presents a tripping hazard. A Shaw rep came out to my home and took a sample for their lab but they decided not to honor the warranty even though they learned that I have difficulty walking due to a disability. Even my safety wasn't enough to twig their conscience. I've been embarrassed to have people over because every room in the house and the stairs are so very badly wrinkled. I can't afford to have the whole house redone.

"Dust and fuzz"
I wouldn't have known about what was happening, if I hadn't purchased a vacuum with a clear plastic cannister. I have to clean the filter and the fuzz that comes off the rug is unbelievable! I reported this to shaw and they sent a guy out , who went back and lied about it. the dust in the filter is the same color as my carpet. and I believe it affects my breathing. it is a very fine dust. I was told it was because the carpet was recycled carpet, even thro I paid for new. the fuzz from carpet even attaches to my rollaider wheels!

"A Waste of Money"
We just replaced our 24 year old nylon carpet with Shaw "Find Your Comfort II". Honestly, I'm sick about the whole thing. This Anso Nylon product is nothing like my former carpet. At 55 oz, I realized I wasn't getting the top of the line, but rather an upper mid grade carpet. I really thought I did my homework, but apparently not. Every step I take shows every imprint of my feet. It does NOT spring back at all! Vacuuming shows everything including the cord marks from the vacuum. The carpet looks like one big matted mess. The only "positive", the carpet is a soft matted mess. I would highly recommend those considering this label to run in the opposite direction.

"Garbage Carpet"
My Shaw carpet I had installed, looks worse than the carpet I had removed only after a year and a half. I just bought a new house and I will not be putting Shaw carpet in that home or any property of mine ever again. Then when I sent in a warranty request, they said there was debris on the carpet and blamed vacuuming in one direction. Shaw carpet is garbage!

"Will Never Buy Shaw again"
After 8 months, single person living in home, carpet is all matted. Looks worse than the 20 year old carpet still in the home. Highly disappointed they don't honor their warranty. The sales person was an ... and didn't back up the warranty yet it was his recommendation to put this garbage in the home. Nothing like taking advantage of the elderly and putting the screws to them. Especially those on fixed income.

Review:
"Beware! Significant color loss in 4 years"
I purchased carpet for my home - total about $20,000. The product is guaranteed for 20 years, promises to be color fast, etc. After 4 years there is so much color loss in walking patterns and near sliding glass doors that when the inspector came for my claim on the warranty he had to ask "What color was it supposed to be?" My claim was denied calling it fading from sunlight, not a manufacturing problem. I asked how it could be viewed as acceptable that a carpet in a home with windows could not hold its color in 4 years. The agent just read lines from the warranty text. Do not trust the company to stand behind its products. Do not assume the warranty will help you. Do not believe that the product will stand up to normal use and daylight.
