"Backing seperating causing carpet lumps"
After a few years I started to notice bumps raising in various areas including in non-traffic areas. Pushing fingers down into one of the larger lumps/bulges I could feel that the backing had separated. Having the carpet re-stretched would only make it worse with the carpet tearing. I highly suspect it's Chinese junk! Everything the Chinese make is junk, garbage, or poison. I'm over 70 years old and it's just me and wifee so kids aren't a factor. Sad to say this is probably a problem with all carpeting now and the norm. My sister bought Mohawk carpeting few years ago and had it replaced twice and finally told them to keep it and went to large area rugs.

"Horrendous carpet."
This is the worst carpeting we have ever had. We have had Berber our entire married life and never encountered so many problems. Lowe's will not stand behind their product and neither will Coronet. The carpeting is full of flaws and it unraveled as we were vacuuming. This was supposed to be their best seller.

"Terrible wrinkling and customer service"
Had carpet put in years ago, had trouble with wrinkling and bumps from day one. We opened a complaint/claim. Stretched many times. Had it put in the dining, living, family, master, guest bath and hallway.... Very unhappy! Do yourself a favor, don't buy any of their products! The company would not take any responsibility and it was expensive carpet! Now we're finally replacing most if the areas, I am doing research so I won't be purchasing anything from any of their products, no matter what name they are under. Don't buy their products! If I can help one fellow consumer then my time spent writing this was time well spent!

"Problems with wrinkling"
We have had Lowe's Coronet carpeting stretched twice. It has been down ten years now and although a durable carpet it does wrinkle & stretch. It is another wrinkled mess right now, but I am not going to have it stretched again. Next time I will steer clear of Lowe's.

"Mfr Defect"
I just had my living, dining and bedroom carpeted with Coronet Carpet. Purchased from Lowes and love the texture. However since one piece was came in the wrong length (32' not 42') that piece had to be reordered. Seems that there was no problem with this because they have lots of the same dyelot. When it arrived, there was a defect and the carpet layers wouldn't touch it. Ordered a new piece with "manual inspections" done at the warehouse. Came in with a similar problem. But layed it anyway. Even though it was the same dyelot the colors didn't match. And the thought that they would have done a manual inspection and caused delay. They didn't find the defect. Now Lowes has told me that they will replace it all. But I am afraid to order from this company again...

"Another Dissatisfied Customer!!"
We bought our carpet from Lowe's in fall 2008. In 2011 it started to wrinkle on one spot. Now in 2012 wrinkles all over the place. There is at least one in every room and hallway of our house. I had to have one room re-stretched and they took off 2"-3" of excess carpet. I have been asking Lowe's to do something about it for at least 3 months now. Lowe's will not do crap to fix it...so far. Coronet / Beaulieu will not even come out to look at it...so far. I suggest you look in more reviews before buying this carpet!!

"Dissatisfied Customer"
I purchased Coronet Carpet's Taos from Lowes with a 25 year warranty. I purchased it in 2009 and am in the process of having in restretched for the second time. I contacted Lowes who put in a claim with Coronet. They came back and said they do not warrant the carpet for defects beyond one year. I would not advise anyone to purchase their carpet since the warranty is misleading.

"Quality Carpet"
I have owned my beautiful Coronet carpet for over 10 years,I installed it myself throughout the house,I like the texture of the carpet, it is still very soft and has proven durable throughout the years, I have never had it professionally cleaned, although I am planning on having it cleaned soon because I have recently acquired a pet Golden Retriever, and they aren't well known for having short hair. But hes a good Dog,Anyway, I have no complaints about my purchase, and would purchase this brand of carpeting again..I would recommend this brand to anyone because it should last you for the long haul.
