US Floors

US Floors claims to be the leading producer of sustainable, eco-friendly floors in the United States. It also claims to be the only supplier of bamboo and cork flooring in America that has a manufacturing plant in the country. US Floors uses solar power to produce a percentage of the energy their plant in Dalton, Georgia uses.

Flooring Line

US Floors have products such as Natural Cork, Bamboo, Navarre Oiled Floors and Vinacork. The Natural Cork Parquet Tile floors are available in different colors and in standard sizes of 12" x 12" or 24" x 24". Custom sizes can be order as well. The Natural Cork floors can be installed easily as the planks click together meaning no nails or glue are required.

The Natural Bamboo floors are 27% harder than oak and have a 3-ply vertical and horizontal construction with US Floors promising these floors will not delaminate. The Natural Bamboo floors are treated with an aluminum oxide coating which will last three times longer than a traditional finish.

Their Navarre Oiled Floors are more durable than most wood flooring and enable easy cleaning and repair. Vinacork is easily installed and is less expensive than regular glued down wooden floors. Once a Vinacork floor has been installed, it can be walked on immediately in contrast to more traditional floors that need time to settle.

Taking Care Of Your US Floor

Consumers should be aware that Natural Cork will fade when exposed to sunlight and it must be maintained regularly. It's best to prevent the floor being exposed to direct sunlight by using drapes. Also, the room's humidity should remain around the 50% mark to ensure the floor does not expand or contract. A damp mop is recommended to clean the floor and remove spillages as soon as possible.

Natural Bamboo floors should be maintained in the same manner as Natural Cork. It is unwise to use an excessively wet mop to clean the floor as too much moisture could cause damage. Consumer should seek out special products to repair scratches.
