"Good News: Warranty laws are on your side"
Our attorneys, specialized in product warranty issues, are suing usfloors and its partner and co-owner, Amorim for the failure of cork flooring they sold us in 2010. they are so sure of the law that they took the case on contingency basis.

"Steer clear of US floors"
I am a retailer of US Floors and have sold thousands of sf. I have had nothing but problems with them standing behind warranty work. I have had 3 major claims with US Floors and they admitted to the customer and my face in the direct presents of the customer they had shipped a defective product, yet they persist in no compensating my customers or myself for defective product and labor charges, steer clear of us floors!

"Footprints, warrenty claim denied"
We purchased our flooring through Floor Trader. Our flooring was installed on June 9&10 and finished on the 13th of June. Square footage was approximately 836sq.ft. We originally had the sample (large sample) in our home for one week to see how it looked and how easily it would clean, leave foot prints behind etc. It faired well. I was told by us Floors to use Bona. I did buy it. First I used a damp microfiber and dried it all on hands and knees. Took a long time. As you might have already guessed foot prints galore! I am not talking about bare feet, I am talking just wearing socks. I was shocked to say the least. Emailed the company. They said use Bona and it sounds like a build up. Classic response. They also recommended hd floor cleaner through a link from their website the floor guy. I looked it up and it is not for use on wood floors. So I emailed us floors again and said I know I don't have a build up but if I did what do you suggest. He said HDFloor stripper! Or ammonia and water! Well I E-mailed the floor guy and he said don't use either it will ruin the finish. I'm thinking the same thing myself. I filed a claim through floor trader. I sent pix, email documentation etc. Today they denied the claim....said it was build up and to use the floor stripper, or denatured alcohol. My other option is to take a piece of flooring up send it to them(ridiculous) or get an independent contractor to come and see and then write them a letter on his or her findings. All at a cost to me. Floor Trader is out of it. This decision was made without them even looking at it in person. Great warranty but it means absolutely nothing. They do not stand behind their warranty.

"Northwoods Oak contains contaminants, do not buy"
Did not fully install floor manufactured by USFloors, Dalton Georgia called Northwoods Oak and sold to me by American Mosaic in Milford, CT because contaminants were displaying as floor was being installed and noticed by carpenter. Installation was stopped and store manager came to my home with mop and cleaner to clean up marks, footprints, scuffs, etc which continued to reappear despite spray cleaner. Store refused to remove contaminated floor. My bank was notified of purchase and filed a claim against store for a full refund. USFloors was notified by store who supposedly sent wood planks from three lots. American Mosaic did not send to us Floors pictures of the partially installed kitchen floor, only pictures of the installed area. USFloors not aware floor was only partially installed took the position that I was not properly caring for my floor.Never used the floor. I am a single person. I have have spent very limited time in kitchen to get some bought ready made food out of refrigerator and eat in living room because of defective floor since March 16, 2016 day of partial installation. Store refused to return money or to take floor back. USFloors refuses to do anything about this matter. Carpenter has not been paid for partial installation of defective and contaminated floor. Another contractor came to examine floor and wrote letter which was sent to Bank and to USFLoors, "Clear evidence that the surface contaminants were introduced pre-production and the floor is contaminated. It is imperative USFloors expediciously remove partially installed floor and provide me with a full refund of all costs." From March 16, 2016 through today May 22, 2016, the Carpenter has not been paid for partially installed floor in kitchen and floor as not been picked up by the store, American Mosaic in Milford or by the manufacturer, USFloors Contaminate floor still in kitchen. I have been sick from it. I have not been reimbursed.

Review:
"Horrible experience!"
We bought the Bamboo Spice flooring at Lowe's in September. We went with this floor because it was supposed to be GreenGuard Gold certified and a very clean product. We are trying to rid our house of off-gassing from petroleum based products and VOCs due to my husbands copd. A few weeks later we picked up the boxes and brought them home. We opened the boxes (pewww) and let them air out in the room for almost six months. (In hindsite, we should have returned the floor immediately.) In February, we started installing the floor. After one day working on the floor, my husband began having respiratory problems. From there on, I cut and installed the flooring myself having him only help on one or two cuts I wasn't comfortable making myself. The next day, we go to the doctor because he is having trouble breathing. They diagnose the problem as being related to chemicals in the flooring and put him on a $300 Breo inhaler. Two to three weeks after I finished the floor, my husband still could not go anywhere near that room in the house. I ended up pulling the floor up, and it is now stacked in my garden shed to get it out of the house. (Lowe's won't take it back.) Have been dealing with Lowe's for a month now with no end in site. I told the manager I wanted to bring the floor back as 3/4 of the boards are intact. No go. I took samples of the cut ends to the manager (to which he said he couldn't smell anything - surprise) and he sent them to US Floors. We got a note back essentially blaming everything on US. The letter is as follows: In reading this, the husband had chronic COPD going into the installation. It sounds as though he and his wife saw the Lumber Liquidators reports and concluded that the floor was toxic. Furthermore, there are no other symptoms of chemical toxicity showing in the exam report ("He reports no dry eyes and no irritation...no frequent nosebleeds, no nose problems, and no sinus problems... no sore throat, no bleeding gums, no snoring, no dry mouth, and no mouth ulcers.") ** Actually he was having issues with irritated eyes and his dry itchy nose** Based on what I am reading, it sounds as though he was installing the floor himself and cutting it without proper protection (eyewear, respirator mask). **Why do you have to wear a respirator while installing such a clean GreenGuard Gold floor** If the customer wishes to send the floor to a qualified lab for testing, he's more than welcome to do so and forward the test results to us for consideration. So basically,on top of the $600 we already spent for a floor we have sitting in a shed (and it has off gassed for over three more weeks now) we need to spent another $100 for a lab test to have them "consider" looking at this again, to which I know they will just have another excuse. Lowe's doesn't care.... they got their money. US Floors doesn't care.... they got their money. We the consumer pays the price for subpar products! If the company won't back their own product, what does that say about them! This was my last trip to Lowes and my last engineered floor (no matter what the rating). I will research my choices much more carefully next time! You can't do much worse than this company!

"First time DIY"
First time DIY for flooring and this went in smooth when done as instructions state. Put the flooring directly over the old kitchen and hallway vinyl floor with no other underlayment. We have a pet who always spills water, and a dishwasher that likes to leak so we needed a product that would not swell up under those conditions. The Coretec Plus Engineered Luxury Vinyl Plank Red River Hickory gave us the features we needed plus the beautiful look of hickory flooring. The floor does have a quieter and warmer feel than other click and lock floors I've been on. I would use this product again.

"Awful"
We had a US floors bamboo floor installed in the majority of our house. It was installed by a reputable contractor who followed all the acclimation and installation protocols meticulously. The floor has buckled upward in numerous areas of our home creating "speed bumps" over which we trip constantly. We have filed a complaint which has not been answered by the company. We are now anticipating a lawsuit against them. Do not buy flooring from Lowes. US floors is their main supplier and Lowes has not supported our claim against them either. We are very disappointed!

"USFloors product performs poorly"
I had USFloors Tigerwood flooring installed in Oct 2013. Their packaging requires 72 hours for "acclimation" to the environment. We acclimated our floors for 7 days. 20 months later our floors are shrinking causing gaps everywhere. After inspecting the floors they denied a claim based on "improper acclimation". Seriously. They took a moisture reading in June 2015 and it was over 15% and the relative humidity in the home was 57%. Again their response is too much humidity in our home and it is our responsibility to maintain our home to accommodate their floors. Are you kidding me... I guess they don't have customers in the Northeast or Southeast. Also no where on their product does it indicated the proper relative humidity that a home needs to be at for their floors not to fail. Do not buy this product!
