Review:
"Not for per owners!"
We had a washing machine run over with water and flood our basement which had laminate flooring in the affected areas. Was looking for laminate flooring to replace what had to be taken out. Our previous laminate was a champ and could handle any pet issues, including urine accidents, so when we were told, "This is what you want for pets" and saw the Great Dane on the display images with the floor we were sold. Big mistake! The floor may look pretty but apparently it does not hold up at all and will bubble up at the seams from any water contact that is on it more that a minute. Our beautiful jew Kona color floors have quickly turned in to a bubbled mess in spots and a very upsetting reminder of Pergo's false advertising. We payed for a brand new floor that should have met our needs as pet owners but instead we threw our money away on a product and company that is not honest or reliable. Run in the opposite direction! Furthermore, I see that they just came out with some new line that is exclusively marketed as waterproof for pets but can I really trust them based on this previous experience? I don't think so.

"Pergo Hardwood Flooring"
We just built a new house and the whole house is done in Pergo Hardwood Flooring. Looked nice to start with but we have found that it scratches and dings very easily. We try to walk with socks most of the time but even a small pebble tends to gouge it. I have never seen hardwood show wear like this. I thought this was Hardwood not something like Pine at the price we paid for it. Would not recommend it. We had Pergo Laminate Flooring in our last house and it held up beautifully.

"I Couldn't Ask For More"
I purchased two rooms (great room and hall to bedrooms) of Pergo Max 12mm Amber Chestnut laminate flooring, installed by Lowe's in Foley, AL. The floor has been installed over 8 months, and I couldn't be happier with the product. I only dry-mop the floor and have never used a cleaner on it, other than a very dry wet wiping. As an experiment, I placed a piece of the off-fall laminate (left behind by the installers) in a sink filled with water. I allowed the off-fall to remain in the water overnight, then removed it to dry. The off-fall dried out without any signs of warping or discoloration. In fact, there are no noticeable changes in the flooring. This experiment has convinced me that, under normal use, the laminate floor will be around for several years to come.

"Don't waste your money"
Saved for years to have my kitchen remodeled and I installed Pergo Hardwood flooring. Worst decision ever. The floor nicks if you drop a fork on it. Any pebble will scratch it. Shoes scuff it. Had to put felt under all of the dining room furniture. Boards are separating after being installed for only 5 months. Makes me absolutely sick. Brand new kitchen with a substandard floor. I contacted Pergo and they cut and pasted their warranty section into their e-mail reply and told me that they do not cover abuse or excessive wear. I explained I only had the floor for 5 months and asked them to please send a representative to come look at the floor and they simply sent me the warranty disclaimer a second time and refused to back up their product. Recommendation is do not ever purchase Pergo Hardwood. Buy Bruce hardwood. I have a Bruce floor in my rec room and looks great after 10 years. I made a very bad decision to not purchase Bruce a second time.

"Do not buy"
Pergo flooring is junk. We had most of the down stairs and all the loft area professionally installed in our new home. The floor scratches easily and the seams are starting to warp. This is just from mopping regularly as it shows every footprint and dirt and is hard to keep looking clean. It's only been in for about six months. It will probably have to be replaced soon. Don't buy this junk.

"The Best!"
We own an art gallery in Palm Coast, FL. Have had this flooring in for three years now. It has been the best thing for our gallery. We move sculptors around, people wear high heels, people come in with sand and mud sometimes and it really take a beating. It looks as beautiful today as the day we put it in. We didn't want to write a review for a few years to really see how the it looked afterwards. It is really beautiful.

"Scrap"
I order through Lowe's 270sq Synthetic Flooring. After opened first box I notice few pieces board different length and some different color. Noway to accepting this. Opened second box and same things. Looks somebody from Pergo swept Flor and pick some scrap and put this to box. Newer see such bad quality product, with intention to sell to costumer. Returned to Lowe's and I got my money back, but I wast my time, I learned one thing that Pergo is worst product and will never buy again.

"Disappointing results"
Purchased from Lowe's and had professionally installed. Many scratches in just one month. Cannot repair them. Box claims scratch resistant. No satisfaction from contacting Pergo. Lowe's website misleading with 3 stars for this. Do not recommend!

"Garbage in a box, an installers perspective"
Pergo makes wonderful laminate floors, I install them all the time and have for over 15 years. That being said, do not buy their engineered wood product! 1) examine the wood. Pergo hardwood is porous and often seems to be poorly sanded . It is not smooth.. 2) the joints are poorly milled with dull equipment and the product doesn't install well. The board are often bowed and refuse to lay flat. It's plywood! How do you produce boat shaped plywood and sell it for tip dollar. Shame on you Pergo and Mohawk 3) Pergo does not produce matching trim pieces. Does your room have a doorway or where you planning on installing at the top of steps? Too bad. Pay they premium price and the people you bought it from will try to provide you with some sort of matching trim. It won't match, and it won't be right
