"False advertising/does not back product"
Purchased "Pergo" Laminate flooring through Lowes. My floor is less than 1 year old and I have multiple scratches, from my new furniture. Pergo advertises how durable their materials are and state no scratches from wear. Lowes put in a claim for me and "Pergo" denied the claim stating they do not cover scratches on the floor. Very upset because I spent the extra money to get "Pergo" when I should have saved money and purchased the store brand. Would never recommend Pergo to anyone.

"Refurbishing a Dining Room with Shiny New Flooring"
My floor is brand new. I haven't even put down scatter rugs or hung curtains in the room. I like the appearance of the flooring because it reminds me of the old grade schools in this area, where floors like that had a glow. Time gave them a patina, and that is what I expect out of this floor. If there is anything I don't like, it is that I might have preferred a darker finish. But this is the finish I chose, without too many misgivings. Because the floor is so new, I am not sure how it will wear or how long it will last. But my church installed the same material around the altar where there is quite a lot of traffic, and after three years it still looks brand new. It is also easy to maintain. I would definitely recommend this flooring because it is easy to install and the instructions that came with it are clear. I like it so well I might put it in the bathroom hallway, or even the living room.
