"Lumber Liquidators never again"
I bought the morning star bamboo flooring in 2012 and had it professionally installed and had problems with it and lumber Liquidators told me it was the installers fault it wasnít done right well the end of 2014 my home partially Burt so I did a complete rebuild and again I had morning start bamboo flooring installed. We let it set in the home for 3 weeks open before we installed and not even a year later it is all buckled. Itís looks awful never again will I purchase anything from lumber Liquidators and again itís the installers fault and they will not help replace it it was 5k wasted again.

"Stay away"
Say away from this product and Lumber Liquidators. Like numerous others our floor started buckling almost right away. We used professional installers and used the recommended glue for a slab installation that was a moisture barrier. After weeks of calling Lumber Liquidators they sent out a supposedly "independent inspector". Now weeks later again, we can get no one from Lumber Liquidators to return our calls. From my research on line this seems to be their MO with this product. Mean while I have a $15,000 mess that has to be removed and replaced. I am not unfamiliar with bamboo flooring as I had it installed in my last house in Hawaii with no issues. And Hawaii has moisture issues! I wish I had been warned about this company.

"Lumber Liquidators and Morning Star"
Bought Morning Star bamboo from Lumber Liquidator. Cured wood in house for months, bought Lumber Liquidator's recommended highest moisture protection adhesive, installed well, good moisture tests. Results: dangerously high warped boards, curled edges, blisters throughout--within months of install! Lumber Liquidators sell sub-quality products and do not stand behind their products, so they profit and the customer suffers (lost thousands). Warning: Don't buy Morning Star and don't buy from Lumber Liquidators!

"Very Unhappy with our bamboo flooring"
We saved and used savings to take out our carpet in our new house and replace with Lumbar Liquidators, Morning Star Bamboo because "it's the best" we were told. It is beautiful when it's new but three years and every little scratch shows. I clean and clean and clean and it is never clean. Any chair leaves a mark. The floor is literally wearing out. Our floor has been glued down by a professional which cost even more money. I can not replace with another. Very very very unhappy with these floors. Do not buy.

"Bubbled and Oozed Resin, Plus Odor"
Purchased and installed this flooring throughout our home in 2012. Recently the flooring has started to bubble and ooze a sticky resin and in closed rooms there is a strong odor. I will never purchase this type flooring again nor will I recommend it to anyone. We contacted Lumber Liquidators and sent pictures along with a sample of the sticky substance, which their representative claimed to never see, however, their decision is it is caused by moisture. They even referred us to look at the contract about moisture in a "concrete slab" but our home is not built on concrete slab. It seems they have a form letter ready to send to every customer affected just to "cya" their mistakes for selling this defective product.

"Cleaners don't remove prints and watermarks"
I am very upset with this kind of floor. You can see every print, water mark etc.. I have done several cleaners, nothing works! And the worst part is that we are stuck with it.

"Lumber Liquidators doesn't honor warranty"
I have had bamboo flooring made by Morningstar and it is cracking, splitting, warping and shrinking ‚Äď all within one year (30 yr. Warranty). The Lumber Liquidators claims that these problems are due to faulty installation and refuses to compensate the affected. I've had independent contractors say it is a faulty product that was installed correctly. There are law firms that believe many customers may be entitled to collect compensation from Lumber Liquidators since they apparently say this to everyone!

Review:
"Be aware!"
I bought the dark Morning Star bamboo flooring from Lumber Liquidators. I got a sample and checked on scratching etc. It does ok with that but if it does scratch, it is super obvious. My problem however is with the quality of product itself right out of the box. We did not realize when we bought it that it would be all the same length. It was difficult to lay it randomly. It required a lot of cuts and waste. Another problem was it has a lot of flaws coming right out of the box. There are lots of clumps and bubbles. We had quite a few pieces that had peeling on the side and we were afraid to lay them fearing that in time they would catch on something and peel off. We had a couple of boards with cracks and some that were warped. We literally had three entire boxes of flawed wood. We bought 15 boxes in total so 3 out of 15 were unusable and nonreturnable because they were opened. This floor was literally half the price of most of the floors in the store. I thought it was because it was unable to be re-varnished. However I did not expect to have so much trouble with the actual quality of what we got. I spent a huge amount of time going over every board once I realized how many were flawed. This added to the extra time making sure that there was a random pattern since all boards were the same. What should have been a one day installation turned into a three day nightmare. Not happy.

"Shows scratches, smudges and water marks. Horrible."
I would never buy it again and wouldn't recommend it. We were told it could be used in the kitchen and it can't. It shows every scratch (which cannot be removed), every smudge and water mark. It's a floor for show and not to be used! Very disappointed and upset that we are stuck with it!

"Fuyang"
Our floor looked beautiful until it started to shrink. It was acclimated to the house for three weeks before laid it was installed by licensed contractors and Lumber Liquidators warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.
