"Bad floor"
We purchase our home about three years ago. The floor was awesome initially and then it just started fading and peeling. I'm in the process with the installer to see if they will replace parts of the floor that are fading and chipping. We have a dog but her nails are kept trimmed. Now the floor is fading and does not have a shine no matter how many times you clean it.

"The Worst Quality"
I have had my Mohawk engineered hardwood floors for 7 months. It scratches like crazy, I cannot even vacuum it. I am so upset and spent over $15,000 on it. Looks worse than my old floor.

"Terrible Service"
We ordered about 2200 sq feet of flooring, and paid for delivery to our home. Upon delivery, the flooring was not the same as the sample we have. It seems that the mohawk sample was mislabeled. This by itself would not have been a big deal, but we are now going on close to two weeks, and the only resolution that has been presented by mohawk is that we can pay to have it shipped back to the warehouse, and they will waive the restocking fee(only if we buy mohawk again). Since the wrong floors have been delivered based on a Mohawk sealed sample, we are contesting the charges with our credit card company. In the interim, our home is in complete disarray. When you spend tens of thousands of dollars on a product, the company should at a minimum have some sort of concept of customer service, especially when the error falls on them. You have many options when purchasing your flooring, I would advise you to stay clear from this company. I cannot comment on the quality of the flooring since we cant even get past the horrific management/customer service.

"Terrible product"
On the advice of my contractor, I had Mohawk Techwood Santa Barbara flooring installed in my addition. There were so many scratches in the floor after installation that I was given a bottle of Old English Scratch Cover (which, by the way, does not work on this floor). I have not even moved into this room yet and the floor is scratched everywhere. Once it is in use, this will never hold up. Mohawk customer service is useless - they left me a voicemail telling me that the surface scratches will become less noticeable over time and those that are all the way through can be "repaired" with old english or other products. Or, if necessary, I can have a professional replace the scratched planks. That is not the issue - the issue is that the floor scratches if you even look at it. I will pursue getting this crap out of here and replaced with something decent. I will never buy another Mohawk product

"Terrible quality"
Floors were installed when we built the house 2+ years ago. We have no children or pets and we are careful people. The floors look terrible, full of scratches, dents and gouges. I am so disappointed. Do not buy a Mohawk floor. After this experience, I would not buy any type of Mohawk product, including tile or carpet.

"Extremely low quality material"
We purchased our home a year ago with these beautiful dark wood floors (/Engineered) that looked so nice in our home (a model home by Eagle Builders). Within 6 months of being in the home, the scratches, separating of the laminate from the top and the warping of the actual boards began...the floor is horrible to clean ( used Mohawk recommended cleaner) and now has a hazy film that will not come up. We were told these were high traffic, durable floors. So when our 1 year warranty walk through was done, neither the builder nor Mohawk would warranty their product... said it was normal wear and tear....If this is normal what will they look like in another year? This is a pathetic way to run a business and not guarantee your product. This is straight up Theft to make a buck. To say we are unhappy with this product would be a Huge understatement. After reading other reviews, apparently I join much larger group of dissatisfied customer. Mohawk you continue to rip off the consumer. We will never buy mohawk products again. Extremely disappointed

"Mohawk is the worst. Absolute garbage. Do not buy."
Mohawk has the worst quality control of any flooring manufacturer. They let garbage go out the doors. Stay very far away. They are now starting to put glooring in plain boxes so people dont know its mohawk.

"Worst Product We've Ever Purchased"
Mohawk engineered wood in brand new construction. Now three years old. We realized we had a serious problem within six months. Mohawk came out, said it was our fault. Same old fraudulent song and dance everyone else here has written about. Three years later the boards are actually decaying. Scratched, worn, crumbling. I've been around for a while - I remember 1970s Ford Pintos. No product is this bad. And it was glued down onto the concrete. It will cost a fortunate to get this crap up.

"Top veneer peeling"
Initially loved this floor. The color variation is beautiful and very easy to maintain. However, just a year and a half after installation, I have found sections where the top veneer is peeling off the composite base. Very concerning as I have had this installed in three rooms. Was planning on installing the same flooring on my entire second floor but will definitely not even consider it now given the latest issue. Will never buy an engineered floor from Mohawk again. The extra cost for Mirage flooring would have been a better investment. So sorry I didn't go that route.

"The Worst"
We purchased our home three years ago and the builder promised these floors were durable and easy to maintain (more so than hardwood). These are engineered hardwood floors with an extremely thin paper-like coating on each plank that started to chip and peel immediately. There is no recourse. My floor looks worse than 100 year old solid wood floors. We have four kids and one 50 lb dog and they are constantly getting scratched and gouged. My daughter drops her sippy cup? Huge dent! Drop something from the pantry? Say goodbye to that plank! This is absolutely the very worst floor they could have installed in this house. There is nothing durable or easy about it. Our builder said it was quality but other neighbors who installed this same floor have the same issues. And yes, if an ice cube melts, the planks are ruined. If a little water gets tracked in from a rainy day, be ready to mop it up immediately. The worst.
