"Do Not Buy"
We built a home 3 years ago and put Kraus engineered hardwood throughout our home. It had a brushed finish. The installer noticed that there were boards that were coming out of the box that were defective. Once the floor was in, we had to have them come back and repair boards that started to split. Kraus advised that it was our fault with the cleaning products we were using. The company that installed it in our home agreed that it was defective and replaced the flooring. We were told that we could not go with the brushed finish and more and had to go with a low shine. It changed the whole look of our home. We wanted to go with the same flooring. Not even a year after the replacement flooring was put in, the flooring has started to have bubbles appear in some of the boards. Again, the Kraus representative came and looked at the flooring. We were told that once again, it was our fault. Our flooring is not even a year old and it looks like it has been in our home for 10. We have this flooring throughout the majority of our home. Kraus definitely does not stand by their product. I would definitely not recommend it.

"No issues, seems indestructible."
Had it professionally installed a year and a half ago. Absolutely no issues looks as good as day one. I did notice the installers seemed over the top with the leveling they got the floor perfect. Our home was built in 2002 and the floors were still in good shape. My take from some of these reviews is mabey the leveling wasn't up to par. Maybe. We have one child and a dog really the floor seems indestructible.

"Worst laminate"
Never buy from this company. The quality of the loc system is poor and will break with any stress. I spent $600 in trying to level my floor to the 1/16 of an inch and after compliments from the flooring company installer I put the flooring back down. After walking over it again the flooring starting cracking and breaking again. I firmly believe that unless the floor is pure level you will have breakage when walking on the floor. It will not stand up to anything.

"Worst Floor Ever"
We installed Kraus Laminate flooring - we informed the seller that this was going into an older (107 years old) house, in the kitchen. Since May, it has buckled and broken. There were three inspections, including by an independent tester. They denied our claim, stating it is too humid, that we need to use our AC at all times. Since this house is over a century old - there is NO central air! The cabinets - which are hung on the wall and not seated on the floor - were deemed too heavy. You are not supposed to put heavy furniture on it! This is the worst floor, the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. It is entirely unfit for purpose.

"Looks good but makes crackling sounds when walked on"
Had Kraus Pender Isle laminate, castle oak colour installed in my living, dining and hallway. Love the look and colour but very unhappy with the cracking sounds made when floor is walked on. Working with company who installed it to remedy the problem.

"Customer Service"
3 e-mails to Kraus customer service remain unanswered despite a return e-mail that a response would be coming soon. Obviously they are only concerned about selling their product, after that, no interest in the customer. I would never buy from this company again and would warn any potential buyers that is anything goes wrong you are on your own.

Review:
"Worst flooring I've seen"
We put the Kraus Legacy Supreme flooring throughout out our brand new home. Within 6 months, chips started showing in the center edge of several planks in at least 2 rooms. One of these was in front of the master bedroom closet. There were places where the planks were cupping as well. I contacted the home builder, as we were still under the 1 year warranty, and he contacted the company. A rep was sent to look at the problem and he verbally agreed that these problems should not have occurred. However his written report was totally different, blaming the damage on "high traffic" and using too much moisture when cleaning. I had told the rep that I used a steam mop once a week on the kitchen area only but had wiped in front of my closet with only a damp papertowel. Since then several of the planks have sagged because the piece that slides into the corresponding groove has either broken off or was never there from the start. The company refused to back their product at all. I can't wait to get this junk out of my home and will never purchase anything from this company again.

"Deny Warranty"
Professionally installed Moselle Champagne Acacia wood flooring by Kraus in new home. Problems began within 6 months with creaking. Kraus sent out inspector for warranty evaluation. Kraus denied warranty coverage alleging water damage from use of 4x cleaning over 18 month period with damp [not wet] mop. Floor replaced at consumer's expense and reinstalled professionally. Post analysis of flooring showed tongue and groove router cuts were not exact during manufacturing process. The loose fit allowed movement [creaking]. Poor product and non-customer oriented company imo.

When we got the report they said the problem was the way it was installed and our fault because we put protectors on our chairs. What a rip off this companys flooring is junk Don't Buy
