Mullican offers pre-finished solid and engineered floors that are available in a wide variety of styles. While solid floors have to be installed on or above grade, the engineered wood can also be placed below grade. Nails or staples are generally used during the installation of solid wood, but a glue down approach is an option for engineered flooring. In addition, the G-5 locking system allows an engineered floor to be floated for convenience and quickness.

Mullican Solid Hardwood

Solid hardwood floors from Mullican are 3/4 inch thick and vary in color, species, texture, and width. Featuring twelve unique collections, the solid wood product line includes traditional, contemporary, hand-sculpted, wire-brushed, exotic, and natural designs.

Mullican Engineered Hardwood

Engineered wood floors by Mullican can be purchased in three different thicknesses, according to the room and application. Customers have the option of 1/2 inch, 3/8 inch, or 5/16 inch, and a range of plank widths. Plus, there are ten collections of engineered flooring types in textures that are similar to Mullican's solid hardwood, along with the Austin Springs Loc-to-Fit line.

Flooring Care

Based on the recommendations of the Mullican website, a hardwood floor should be swept or vacuumed at least every other week. Regularly, or each month, the floors are cleaned using a Mullican approved product. Homeowners can protect their hardwood further by having area rugs cover high traffic spots, and mats near entrances as needed. Variations are expected in the color or appearance of a wood floor and they will be reduced if any rugs are moved occasionally.

Warranty

Limited Residential Warranty Programs for Mullican hardwood floors are valid for the original owner and guarantee that the finish will not wear within the following time frames:

• Solid Prefinished Hardwood Flooring: 10 Years to 50 Years (depending on individual collection)
• Engineered Prefinished Hardwood: 15 Years to 25 Years (depending on individual collection)
