"Awful"
I can't even give this one star. Tile was installed a year ago. Our first issue was grout haze that looks horrible when the light hits it. Then tiles started randomly cracking and chipping. To add to the bad tiles, now the grout is shrinking and crumbling. It's no surprise SnapStone is no longer in business.

"Garbage"
My wife and I now understand why Snapstone is no longer in business. Crappy product. Cracks, chips and is the worst flooring product ever produced. Snap Stone even flew a representative of the company from Nebraska to Ohio to personally replace 12 broken tiles in our kitchen. He shipped new tiles and grout to our home, took an airplane ride to Ohio and repalced all of our broken tiles. Within 1 week we had a few more broken tiles. We had a NEW subfloor, double the recommended thickness, level with no imperfections and we still had issues. Bad product, they didn't stand by the warranty( after they replaced the original 12 tiles), and now they are no longer in business. No wonder! Bye bye, Snap Stone. They made millions of dollars at the expense of everyday average Americans. I hope there is a class action lawsuit against this company! Criminal enterprise!!!!

"Beautiful Floor"
We installed this porcelain tile over an existing vinyl basement floor and we are extremely satisfied with it. With 8 children we haven't had any chips or breakage! We just installed it in an upstairs bathroom As well.

"Dont do it"
We paid about 5K just in stone and grout to do our floors about 4 years ago. Kitchen, dining, two bathrooms and two halls. After 4 years we have had about 10 broken tiles and about 30 chipped tiles. They chip so easy. We have no kids and no pets in our house on a full time basis. I couldn't imagine how bad these would have looked had we had them. At first the floors looked amazing but it was short lived. I now have to have large area rugs to cover all the damaged tiles. Dont waste your money.

"Do not waste your money"
They crack right under your feet. It is a horrible product. I installed snapstone in my mudroom, kitchen and living room. I have numerous cracked tiles in all three rooms. Snapstone is a faulty design, I weigh 150 lbs and they literally crack as I walk across them. Once they crack you have shards of tile that cut your feet. I am a Grandmother and my "New Floors" are now unsafe for my grandchildren to walk on. Snapstone is a waste of money and a very unsafe product.

"Don't waste your money and time!"
SnapStone was recommended because we were putting on the main floor in our kitchen and because there is some movement needed a floating floor. We also went with the heat panels that are designed to go under this flooring. Installing wasn't bad and look really nice for the first few years but then we noticed a few of the tiles had cracked and the grout started coming up and separating from the tiles. My husband finally decided it was time to replace the cracked tile and planned on re-grout the entire kitchen as most of the grout has come up. When he pulled up the tiles we found mold! We believe that water seeped in where the grout had separated or where there wasn't any and now we will need to replace all of the floor and pull up all the heat panels. What a waste of money and it's not cheap to begin with! We believe the biggest problem was because of the heat panels as we did put it in our kids bathroom and have not had any issues with the grout separating or coming up. We had planned on this lasting for years like regular tile does.... it doesn't!

"Disatisfied homeowner"
When first installed this product looked good. Over time tiles began to crack, Anytime something fell to the floor it cracked a tile. Dropping silverware cracked the tiles. That happens to everyone. I would not recommend this product as you will be disappointed in the end. I am now going to replace this floor after only four years.

"Spent more man hours on this floor than the rest of the house"
Immediately after the floor was installed, it looked ok. After a few weeks I noticed the grout lines were coming up- after I mopped or vacuumed. It started in one spot and within months it had affected almost all the tiles in the kitchen. I emailed the company and they decided it was installed improperly and only offered to give me a bucket of grout. I ended up pulling all of the tiles back up and thought it would be easy to remove the grout left on them- boy was I mistaken! Many man hours and much elbow grease later- I finally got all of the grout off. I decided to affix it permanently since I broke the tabs pulling it up and wow- numerous hours spent cutting and scraping the trays off the tiles. I wish I would have known- I would have never bought this product

"Very satisfied!"
We installed Snapstone in the lower level of our house in Vt. A family room and a large bedroom. Temperature, moisture and humidity have not effected the tile at all. We are talking Vt. here so the temperature range is huge. Not one cracked tile in over ten years! Love it! I am very surprised by all the negative reviews!

"Broken Tiles"
I installed the floating porcelain tile one my kitchen floor about 120 sq. ft. Within the first 3 years i had 7 tile break. I bought the tile at Menards, went to Menards all they could do is give me a flyer with a phone no. in it. The flyer said Limited 10 yr. warranty. Called the number on the flyer told the person on the phone about the broken tile, still no help. I replaced the 7 broken tile and now 4 or 5 years later I have 8 more broken tile in different location not going to mess with it any more. Replacing floor as soon as possible with something else.
