"Why I Would Reccomend Pergo Synthetic Flooring"
I have had Pergo synthetic flooring throughout my entire home for three years. There are alot of windows in my home and the sun shines brightly when I have the blinds open. I have no fading whatsoever on my floors. I love plants and have had times when I have accidentally allowed water to spill on the floor due to my own negligence but the mess wiped right up with no staining whatsoever.I noticed a red wine spill did not leave a stain either after I wiped it up. There are no loose pieces and everything is still in tact. I constantly get compliments on my wood floors from people who do not realize by looking that it is actually synthetic flooring. The only complaint I have is that it does scratch rather easily so I would recommend carefully rearranging furniture. At this point I have reccomended Pergo flooring to friends and would continue to do so.All in all my Pergo flooring has proven to be a quite durable product. It looks like natural wood.It cleans up easily. It was rather reasonable to purchase and have my husband install and it really did improve the appearance of our home immensley. I use area rugs to prevent scratching and all is good.

"Loving my Pergo Floor!"
In February 2011 I recently did a DYI project. I redid my hall floor in the Pergo laminate floor--I used the Classic Red Oak. It turned out beautiful. I have now done my master bathroom with the same color and am planning on doing the hall bathroom with this color also. It is very easy to apply and it took me about 2 hours to do each project. I have recommend to my daughter and she has done one bath and in process of doing the other one. I did a little research on cleaning recommendations and have learn that using a little vinegar and water is the best way to keep clean.

"Looks real, feels real, must be real"
I have owned my Pergo synthetic wood flooring for the past 6 years. In the past synthetic flooring looked cheap, or fake. Now the synthetic flooring looks real. I like that the floor feels just like real wood, it is also very durable just like real wood. I dislike the color choices for the flooring; I wish there were more choices. I have had to replace one piece because my freezer unthawed and leaked causing the floor to rot. The repair was very simple and didn't take long. I would buy this flooring again, and would also recommend it to a friend, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this flooring. The price is reasonable, it feels, and looks like real wood even though it isn't. the install is also very easy and can be done by someone with limited tools and knowledge. I will buy this flooring in my new home and every home after that.

"Highly Satisfied with my new floors"
I have had my new synthetic floors for about a year now, and I couldn't be happier. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner, because the process was really easy and the installation was done quickly. My husband installed it, and it was so easy to put together that you would think a professional came and installed it. I like my floors because they are easy to clean, and with the constant traffic of kids and visitors to my home, it makes housecleaning a lot easier. I really value my Pergo synthetic wood floors because of their aesthetic value. They look like real wood floors, except without all the hassle. They are scratch resistant, and basically having them in my home has improved the look of my home. When it comes to sell this home, I think that potential buyers will really be impressed with them, and I think they have raised the value of my home.

"The Good and the Bad"
My family and I have owned our Pergo flooring for about the past five years. In that time, I have found many things I like and a few that I don't like about the product. For starters, it looks beautiful. There is something nice about a bright, shiny floor. It looks very similar to wood but is much less expensive. It's easy to clean and to sweep. One of the reasons we decided on replacing our carpeted floors with Pergo was because of the easy clean up. We had just gotten a new puppy and needed something that would be easy to clean. Although I am generally happy with our Pergo floor and would buy it again, we have had our problems. We had a leak once and had to replace the entire bathroom floor because the Pergo had warped quite badly. This happened quickly with a leak that was mopped up quite fast. However, I must say that it was very easy to replace. My husband did it himself. Also, the Pergo in the hallways, kitchen and bath look very nice, but, in the family room, I miss the warmth and feel of carpet.

"Worst service ever received"
The problem with my experience is that I'm unable to separate product from manufacturer. My product came very damaged when delivered and it has been a 4 month battle to finally get a $30 credit and an email saying that they do not do any free replacements any more. What kind of company of their size treats customers with such low respect? I provided them with photos of the product as it was being opened and how every bundle had top and bottom board damaged and they dragged this problem so long that now I'm unable to place a claim with the transportation company. I will never recommend or purchase any Pergo products in my life.

"Loving the Laminate"
I have owned my laminate flooring for the last 19 years. Compared to ceramic tile, which is very hard to walk on and hurts my legs, laminate flooring is softer to walk on. It is a cool floor, so you use less electricity to cool your home in the summer. Just by adding a lovely throw rug over the floor, warms up the room in the winter. The flooring is very easy to clean, just a damp mop. It never changes, no fading, scratching or discoloring. The flooring doesn't absorb sound, so there is an echo. I really only have one major concern. Since the floor looks just like it did 19 years ago and nothing is wrong with it, I can't convince my husband to buy a different looking laminate floor. If I could, I would definitely purchase one from the same company. I recommend this flooring to all my friends and acquaintances.

"Surprised we liked it, but we're the converted"
We've had the floor for just over 18 months. The people who remodeled the house before us put it in, so we didn't have a choice. You can tell a difference from the look of the installed floor. It does not look exactly like the real-wood floors we were used to in homes we lived in before. However, it does look good. It cleans up well. And, we have a very large German Shepherd who loves to skitter through the kitchen with those large claws of his. I came to love the floors when I realized that I wasn't seeing any scratches. On closer inspection, I saw that he was making slight indentions in the top of the floor, but you can't see them because when scratched, the floor is the same color as the surface. In a real wood floor, we would see the white of the wood under the surface with each scratch.

"Real looking Hard wood floors"
I have Had Pergo laminate floors in my kitchen and bathroom floors for over 5 years. After a flood, i needed to replace them all. It was very easy to replace. The boards came up with no problem and when replacing them, I did it my self. The only issue I had was that when putting the boards together, you had to use glue. It says you don't have to use it. But you do. Putting too much made it squeeze out and not enough would make it not stick together. It took about four hours in the bathroom. And the kitchen was about a day to due it being a larger space. I saved myself about 3000.00 dollars. The boards were 3.27 sq foot. I borrowed my neibors saw, and bought the rest at Home Depot. All of my friends and neibors love the look, and the feel. Everyone had been so amazed at how cheap and easy it was to complete.

"The Thrill of Victory after the agony of defeat.r"
My floors were the worst, the constant clean up they required had me beat! Now - my floors gleam, they glow, they shine. They are wonderfully easy to clean. Although my fooring is still quite new, I chose Pergo because I had heard enthusiastic reports about its amazing qualities. Everything I've heard and read turns out to be true! These floors are a dream to care for and require only the simplest maintenance. They do not mar easily - no dents, scratches or furniture tracks. And they are utterly beautiful to look at. The soft warm glow looks exactly like the finest wood flooring. And this floor will last as long as I do. Give yourself a break and invest in this low maintenance, high quality, very stylish flooring product. Then you can be a winner, too.
